Respected physicist and
professor Dr. David Snoke argues that the Bible does tell us about the
scientific history of our world, but it does not teach that the world was
created recently. He offers a compelling biblical case that the young-earth
position is theologically flawed.

The Geology curriculum project continues to go well.
Seven lessons have been completed at this time.. I've updated
them with lesson plans, and I have also configured them for saving to a CD so
that dial-up users can obtain a copy for a minimal charge.
These will be offered as soon as the curriculum is complete and tested. As
a result of working on the curriculum, and catching up on tasks at home, the new
article list below is short.
There is an exciting new old earth book out last month. Dr. David Snoke has written an interesting looking book titled A Biblical Case for an Old Earth, which I noticed in my local bookstore. Click on the link at the bottom of the description at left for more details.
The month of September brought some very sad news with the unexpected death of the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. The Crocodile Hunter shows are one of my family's favorites. He will be missed. At least two young earth ministries responded to this news, Answers in Genesis and Australian-based Creation Ministries International. Ken Ham of AiG claimed that Steve was not a creationist, simply based on the fact that Steve was an evolutionist. However, we all know that you can be both...just ask C. S. Lewis! The CMI reporting on this was much more balanced, and included much more information, including their investigation on a report that Steve became a Christian two weeks before his death. We can only hope that these reports are true.
As many of you know, I recently retired from the military. I've built this website in my spare time, and my goal is to eventually work full-time on the website. Until that goal is realized several years from now, my job search continues. Please pray that I find the job God wants me to have, and that will allow me to devote time to the website.
