With the summer over, we have already seen a large jump in our visitors. During August 2004, we had a decline before visitors increased in September. This year, the increase started in August, with 1,400 more visitors than July. During August, Old Earth Ministries had 7,197 visitors, viewing 16,804 pages. I am looking forward to September! During the past month I've been very busy with reviews of young earth books. I've completed two book reviews, one on After Eden, by Henry Morris III, and the other on The Beginnings Under Attack, by Bill Sheffield. Both books take a novel approach in presenting no evidence for a young earth, instead focusing on what amounts to emotional appeals to young earth creationists to stay true. They are a testimony to the current state of affairs within young earth creationism. They are desperately trying to get their followers from defecting to old earth creationism.
I'm currently working on a book review of Frozen In Time, by Michael Oard, or, "Mr. Ice Age" as he is known at Answers in Genesis. I'm currently almost halfway finished with this project. I can say that so far there are no significant issues for old earth believers, as I've had no problems finding flaws in his theory for the Ice Age. This review should be posted by 15 September.
