Chapter 3, Part 3:  Variation and Selection

 

      This section deals with the the minute differences between variation and selection.  Your opinions about his will probably dictate which way you believe, as both sides make some valid arguments.

   Morris starts off by talking about how changes in DNA are within the range specified for that particular organism, and thus this minute variation cannot be termed evolution.  His example is the peppered moth.
