Ice Age End Near 1500 B.C. and Genesis

In an article on the IceAgeCivilizations.com website, the argument is made by James Nienhuis that the Ice Age (singular) ended about 1500 B.C.  This has already been disproven in other locations on this website, so we will look at the specific arguments made by the author that are not addressed elsewhere.

The author claims that megalithic structures underwater off of several coasts are up to 70 meters deep, and they were submerged when the Ice Age ended, and sea levels rose about 100 meters from the melting ice.  In other words, Nienhuis is claiming that sea levels have risen 100 meters over the last 3500 years.

Fortunately, we have excellent methods to track sea level change over time.

As you can see from this image, eight points of reference over 8,000 years gives us a good curve showing the sea level change over the last 8,000 years.  Nienhuis is claiming a rise of 100 meters over the last 3500 years, but as you can see, over the last 3500 years the sea level has risen less than 2 meters.  His claim of a sea level rise is not driven by the scientific data.  Apparently, he is making this claim based merely on his need to submerge his megaliths during the last 3500 years.

Behind this claim is the issue of a worldwide megalithic civilization, which was a popular idea earlier in the 20th century, but which has been disproven.  Interestingly, most of the submerged megalithic structure information was found on paranormal websites, such as those devoted to UFO's.  What Nienhuis is apparently attempting to do is merge paranormal data with the Bible.   He is motivated to prove a young earth through whatever means possible, even if it means resorting to proofs that you might see on an episode of the X-Files.

Concerning the worldwide megalithic civilization, this website apparently shows the points at which the structures were laid out by this fictional civilization.   I'm curious how they supposedly laid these out in thousands of feet of water
