D133:  The English legend of Sir George the Dragonslayer supports the existence of dragons

Edited by Greg Neyman

Argument:  Ken Ham uses the English legend of Sir George the Dragonslayer to support the idea that dragons (dinosaurs) were real and lived with mankind

Source:   Ken Ham, The Great Dinosaur Mystery Solved!, Page 38

Response:

  1. The Saint George legend is based on pagan mythology.  It is unlikely that he even existed

  2. There is no evidence to suggest that dragons were real

  3. It is not good science to base scientific conclusions upon the writings of medieval England
