Argument: 

Animals hibernated on the ark.  This would reduce the amount of care that Noah and his family had to provide

Response: 

  1. Most animals do not hibernate.  The ones that do are small animals.  Large animals, like elephants, rhinos, hippos, do not hibernate.  It is the large animals that require the most food and care

  2. The Bible makes no such claim.  It is a young earth theory, dreamed up to help out their Ark arguments.  There is no tangible support for it

  3. In an old earth creationism, local flood scenario, you do not have to resort to such arguments for the ark to work, and for Noah to provide care for the animals
