Question #33. Is Lack of Room for Wisdom Teeth Proof of Evolution?

     The basic argument behind this is that the human jaw is shrinking.  This shrinkage may be due to diet, hormonal intake, or some other factor.  Evolutionists claim that the need to remove wisdom teeth is a sign that we are evolving, we are losing the need for these teeth, therefore the mouth is shrinking.

     Like Morris, I do not see this as support for evolution.  Even if it is due to evolutionary changes, it is a poor example. 


 

     If you are not a Christian, and you have been holding out on making a decision for Christ because the Church always preached a message that was contrary to what you saw in the scientific world, then rest assured that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, and you can believe in Christ and receive salvation, while still believing in an old earth.  Click here for more.
